a. आज की युवा पीढ़ी नए चकाचौंध से तुरत प्रभावित होती है। यदि सामने वाला व्यक्ति पश्चिमी सभ्यता से ज्यादा प्रभावित है तो स्वाभाविक रूप से वह युवा उनके रहन-सहन का वर्णन करेगा जिसका प्रभाव उसके जीवन पर भी स्वाभाविक रूप से परेगा ही।

b. इससे समाज का संतुलन बिगड़ने और आदर्शों को नुकसान पहुंचने का डर रहता है। इस तरह की पत्रकारिता युवा पीढ़ी को भ्रमित एवं कुंठित करती है। जैसा सर्विदित है कि युवा पीढ़ी देश की रीढ़ है, उसके कमजोर होने से देश का संतुलन बिगड़ जाएगा युवा पत्र-पत्रिकाओं को पढ़कर चर्चित हस्तियों के खान-पान एवं पहनावे को अपनाने पर मजबूर हो जायेंगे। वे अपनी इन इच्छाओं की पूर्ति के लिए उचित-अनुचित मार्ग अपनाने में भी संकोच नहीं करेंगे। इससे दिखावा, बनावटीपने और हिंसा आदि बढ़ेगी, क्योंकि पत्रकारिता दबंग और अपराधी छवि वाले व्यक्तियों को नायक की तरह प्रस्तुत करती है।
