Mendel choose pea plant for his experiment because pea plant had a number of characteristics such as (white flower , purple flower),( tall plant, dwarf plant), (green seeds, yellow seeds), (circle seed, wrinkled seeds), etc. And a reason is also responsible is that in a single year we can grow many plants or many times.
