What is database?

Database is an organized collection of data. It contains one or many sheets having several rows_and_columns where values are stored according to fields.

What do you mean by grouping objects?

By grouping objects, we can apply any effects_on the object at the same time. We don't need to_select objects one by one and apply_the same effect like colour, shadow.

GENERATION OF COMPUTERS in English :Five generation of computer

The development of electronic computers can be divided into tive generations depending upon the technologies used. Each generation has its individual characteristics.  First Generation (1940-1956) The first generation of computers used vacuum tubes as circuits and magnetie drums for memory. These tubes produced a lot of heat and were prone to frequent fusing of the installations and therefore, were very expensive and could be afforded only by large organisations. The input to the computer was through punched cards and paper tapes. The output was displayed as printouts. These computers relied on 'machine language' (which is in the form of '0' and 1). These computers were limited to solving one problem at a time.   Second Generation (1956-1963) Transistors replaced the vacuum tubes of the first generation of computers. Transistors allowed computers to become smaller, faster, cheaper, energy efficient and reliable. They were superior to the vacuum tubes. They still r...

What is mouse ? | Basic information about computer mouse

Mouse is an input device. With a click of a button, the mouse sends information to the computer. The mouse is an interesting device that offers an alternative way to interact without the computer beside a keyboard. A typical mouse has two buttons. At the top of the device you will find a left and right button which allows "clicks". There is a scrolling wheel between the two buttons. A mouse consists of a metal or plastic housing or casing, a ball that sticks out of the bottom of the casing and is rolled on a flat surface, one or more buttons on the top of the casing, and cable that connects the mouse to the computer. As the ball is moved over the surface in any direction, a sensor sends impulses to the computer. Nowadays, optical mice are also very popular. It is an advanced computer pointing device that uses a light-emitting diode (LED), an optical sensor, and digital signal processing (DSP) in place of the traditional mouse ball and electromechanical transducer. Wireless Transmission Media

Image
Wireless transmission requires electromagnetic waves for the transmission of information over a distance. These waves or frequencies is measured in Hertz (Hz). Wireless media is also knowwn as unguided media. Communication is done by spreading signals in the air and those signals are received by antennae, They can be classified as:  • Long distance wireless media  • Short distance wireless media  Long Distance Wireless Media  It can support communication over a longer distance of up to thousands of kilometres. It includes the following:  • Microwave  • Radiowave  • Satellite   Microwave is a technique that uses wireless transmission of data. Microwaves are widely used for short point-to- point communication links. For long-distance communication, high towers are built, as the higher the tower, greater the range. Sometimes microwave towers are installed at the top of the houses to facilitate long-distance communication in sho...
