School library rules for students : 10 school library rules

1. The Readers are to maintain silence in the library. Use of cell phones is prohibited.

2. The Readers are to follow the rules of library and maintain proper discipline.

3. No books will be issued without library card.

4. Library card is not transferable. In case of loss/damage, Rupees 10/- will be charged for the issue of new card.

5. The books will be issued for one week. However they can be re-issued depending upon availability.

6. A fine of rupees 2/- per day will be charged for delayed returning.

7. The borrowers are to check the books before leaving the library.

8. Any damage / loss or tampering with the books will be charged as per library rules.

9. No books can be taken out without permission.

10. No bags are allowed in the library.
